NEWLIFE² ("we", "us", "our") is a church community based in Dee Why, NSW, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through newlife2.io, how we use it, and your rights. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Newsletter signups — email address.
Plan a Visit — name, email, phone (optional), party size, service you're planning to attend, and any notes you share.
Prayer wall — the prayer text you submit, optional name/email (email is never shown publicly), and a browser-generated token used only to prevent duplicate "I prayed" clicks.
Contact form — name, email, topic, and message.
Technical data — standard server logs (IP, browser, request time) used only to keep the site secure and reliable.

How we use it

To respond to your message, prayer request, or visit plan.
To send occasional community updates when you subscribe (you can unsubscribe from any email).
To keep the site working, safe, and free from abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

Where it's stored

Data is stored securely in our managed backend (Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase / Postgres) with row-level security policies. Emails are sent from our sender domain notify.newlife2.io through Lovable's managed email infrastructure. Only authorised NEWLIFE² team members can access submissions in the admin dashboard.

Retention

We keep visit, prayer, and contact submissions only for as long as needed to follow up and support you. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing hello@newlife2.io. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13. If a child submits information to us and a parent wants it removed, contact us and we'll delete it.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep the site working (like remembering that you've dismissed the cookie banner). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If we add analytics in the future, we'll use a privacy-friendly, cookie-less service.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of the page. Big changes will be flagged on the homepage.
